MEET ANNE

Anne Murray also known as Morna Anne Murray is a female Canadian singer . Her versatile style suited different genres such as country, pop, inspirational and adult contemporary. She has won dozens of awards including four ‘Grammy’ awards, twenty-five ‘Juno’ awards, 3 ‘Country Music Association’ awards, 3 ‘American Music’ awards and 3 ‘Canadian Country Music Association’ awards and nominations for many other awards. She has been inducted into the ‘Juno Hall of Fame’, the ‘Canadian Country Music Hall of Fame’, the ‘Canadian Broadcast Hall of Fame’, the ‘Canadian Songwriter’s Hall of Fame’ and the ‘Country Music Hall of Fame Walkway of Stars’ in Nashville. She has her own star on the ‘Hollywood Walk of Fame’ in Los Angeles and the ‘Canada’s Walk of Fame’ in Toronto. She has sung more than 80 songs written by Canadian songwriters. She has used her talent for helping others by joining the contingent of performers ‘Canada for Asia’ to raise money after the tsunami disaster in Southeast Asia..
