​My writing is deeply inspired by my own personal experiences and desire to raise
awareness about important social issues. Growing up in rural Bosnia and later
moving to Australia as a war refugee, I faced numerous challenges that shaped
my perspective on life. My poetry and prose often reflect on universal human
experiences and emotions, from love and tenderness to agony and ecstasy.
I am particularly passionate about mental health and anti-bullying awareness. 
Mystic River is an exquisitely compiled, soul-stirring collection of 100 poems 
that show different sides and different emotions from the author's life. Each
and every poem from this book will touch a different layer of your heart
until it reaches the very center of your being.The first 40 poems are the love poetry.
They are sublime! The essence of Nicholson's words will escape the page
