This year’s top honor was awarded to Mamá no estoy muerta by Guatemalan author Mariela S. R. Coline Fanon, recognized for its powerful and deeply human storytelling. The 2025 edition continues Ebobea’s mission to highlight diverse voices and impactful narratives from around the world, while also welcoming Moroccan cultural figure Walid Ettouhami Rabihi as the new Ambassador of the Ebobea Book Awards.
